2017 has been a great year. Although we closed our gallery space early on in the year, alot of good stuff has gone on in the background. For starters we would like to congratulate @thomasgatura, whose first solo show sold out. We are proud of the artists who we have worked with over the last year, a year in which we placed works with collectors from the Middle East, the US and Argentina. A year in which we engaged a Kenyan corporate and helped them grow their collection with over 70 new art pieces.

Art is definately the future!

Thank you to the artists who trusted us with their love and work and to the collectors who trusted us with their love and vision. Thank you to our partners who trusted us with their space: Lord Erroll, Simba Corp and Kuona Trust.

Merry Christmas and a Happy 2018!
Abby, Pauline and Wambui.

Artist Preview Show: Light, Space and Movement: A Preview into the Study of Light on Objects

Thomas Gatura explores the way in which we perceive form and how this is directed when light hits upon the outline of a form. His works on paper subtract the form, leaving the light and reflections.

In his words: “When you first see a picture, you see lines first and then you try to capture the gap between forms and obstacles. In my work, I have left more space than obstacles. I am investigating how we decipher foreground and background.” His preview looks at his continuing study on light and shape formation. He is currently working with watercolor on paper and hopes to move to cotton cloth as part of his journey.
